Today was a fruitful day for me.
First, as usual we went marketing at Co-op Mart. Before that, we went to eat their local 云吞面, Darling's All-Time Favourite. Somewhat different from the one we have in Singapore and Malaysia, but very nice too. *YUMMY* The coffee here is also the closest I can find compared back in Singapore, coz usually the coffee in Vietnam is more acidic. So, I prefer this and I guess suits my parents and sisters.

Along the way to Co-op Mart, we stopped along a roadside. There were sellers selling different stuff. Some of them had their goods hung onto their motorbikes. It's very amazing...they sell fruits, fish, (even arowana!), birds, kittens and puppies...Silas says the puppies are for them to buy to eat! Kaoz! Poor cute puppies :(
What's next? Went home to unpack and sort out the groceries before we went out for my much-awaited hair-cut and colour. Though I mentioned in my earlier post that I'm going to wait 3 weeks before I colour, too impatient to wait. Furthermore, we are going to a Beach Trip next weekend, so I thought I'll look more photogenic with my new hairstyle... kekeke! (",)
So.....the Older ME...
Second visit...hairdresser and assistants still as professional and nice. My whole head took 3 hrs to complete. Poor darling had to wait for me. Luckily, he managed to complete one of his 3 work assignments. Thanks, Darling!
Colour - Nothing much different from Singapore salon, just 1 thing that shocked me! For a moment, I thought I was drowning! When I was asked to lie down to wash away the colour on my hair, the assistant even washed and massaged my hair! Supposed to be very shiok. It was actually during the massage but when she washed my face, I could feel water 'hovering' over my entire face, maybe I'm hydrophobic, so I felt kinda breathless and as though I'm drowning... :x
The solid 3 hours: (for only 350,000D, about S$28)
1645-1725: Cut
1730-1745: Colour
1745-1810: Wait for colour to set
1810-1835: Add colour again
1810-1835: Add colour again
1835-1850: Wash Hair and Face*
1850-1900: Blow Dry
1900-1915: Hair Straightening (to style and set my hair)
1920:1945: Trim again. Blow and Done! ;)
Now, the Newer ME...
When I'm waiting for the colour to set in, a very cute permed-hair girl, about 5 or 6 yrs old, came in with a 10,000D note in her hand. Thought she was just a neighbour next door coming over to play. OMG! Unbelievable! She was here for a hair wash, 10,000D (less than S$1, super cheap!). She looked really cute with the towel wrapped over her head. She then had her hair blown dry and then left with a new hairstyle... 2 plaits...Sweetie Pie! :)
Just before the completion, it started to rain. So, we popped over to the Bubble Tea Shop opposite the salon to have a drink first. I ran across the road, kept looking left, forgot that it's left hand drive here. Nearly got knocked down....PHEW!
The bubble tea here costs between 10,000D to 15,000D (about S$1.20). I ordered a Green Milk Tea with Pearl, 13,000D (~S$1), looks very milky but taste ok.
Last Stop, we proceeded to a small Aussie Cafe for Fish & Chips and Chicken Pie, 115,000D. Not very fantastic. Haha... Darling commented I make better Fish & Chips than what we had! *暗爽* I like the simple decor though.
