Silas & I attended a private dining party last Saturday, 18 Jul '09 at Mike's house (Silas' boss) . A very nice house located in a golf club - Long Thanh Golf Resort.
天不作美, it was raining when we reached there at about 7pm after a 1.5 hr journey, everything was pretty dark. A pity that I didn't manage to take pics of the resort and outside his house. Will defnitely take more the next time. Got some photos from the website...

The house is big, with a good-sized living room and 2 bedrooms. An open concept kitchen with a bar counter...Shiok! There is also a garden area in front of the house. I like the layout and ambience very much. Very apt for holidng parties. :) Guess what...the rental is even cheaper than what we are paying at Seaview Residence. However, the location is somewhat quite inaccessible. Mike has to hire a driver to chauffeur him to/fro work. For us, the house is too big especially when Silas is not around... can be very scary for me to sleep alone in the house...hehe..furtheremore, we don't hold functions very often.

Indeed, a great private dining experience I have ever had. Felt really like a tai-tai experiencing high-life...hahaha. :P So great when you have caterers bbq-ing for you, waitresses serving you, clearing your plates, etc...
I simply love the food presentation...
There were a variety of food. There were 3 types of salad (Caesars Salad is the best!), chicken curry, corn cob, BBQ prawns, beef, chicken, squid, vege...and my favourite ROTI....hee...i mean bread and there were at least 3 different types... Baguette that goes well with the curry, Rye bread, bread roll, bread stiks in 2 different flavours (cheese and chilli powdered). The bread sticks were fantastic. (Love the red polka dots containers too) I think I ate at least 6... and even 'tapao' some more... singaporean style...as what Mike said...hahaha. =P

We played a Number game, 中极密码, whoever strikes the number will have to drink half the glass of hard liquor! Kaoz! as usual, Silas and I were very 'heng'. Jackpot at least 6-7 times, I contributed to 4 times of it. Poor Darling had to drink for me. On average, the others drank about 2-3 times each. At the end, we were the Ultimates! Ms Hanh was the only survivor who kept clear of the glass the whole night. :)
Look at our Lobstered Faces! :)

Overall, I enjoyed myself very much (minus the drinking la). Hehe...look forward to another private dining party session. Thanks, Mike, for the invitation! CHEERS! (",)
